• Shihan Breton was introduced to the martial arts some 35 years ago after having registered his young son in karate classes and desirous to strengthen this young man’s motivation.
• Throughout these early years, for various reasons (moving, etc.), Shihan tried various styles, apart from Nick Cerio’s Kenpo, such as Taekwondo and Yoseikan Karate Do. In the latter style, there was a ju-jitsu component being taught, and this is how he initially got acquainted with this discipline.
• While pursuing his karate training, Shihan also registered for judo classes and eventually got his first dan in that discipline. He holds a sixth degree in Boue-Michi-Ryu traditional ju-jitsu and a third degree in Nick Cerio Kempo karate.
• Shihan Breton is a certified teacher in CAN-Ryu Ju-jitsu.
• The spiritual component of martial arts now holds a major place in his evolution and is a strong motivation to share this path with martial arts practitioners but also, with anyone dedicated to becoming better human beings. For those wanting to follow this path in a harmonious way, please read the newly released book titled Our Spiritual Development Above and Beyond our Human Condition available from Amazon, Barns and Noble, Ingram and numerous bookstores.
